Physiotherapy Assistant/Student Physiotherapist, Receptionist
Brooklyn completed a Bachelor of Health Science (Exercise and Nutrition) at the University of South Australia Online and is currently studying the Doctorate of Physiotherapy at Macquarie University. She is a certified personal trainer and Level 1 Sports Trainer, with experience working for Netball NSW across Metro League, Summer Series, Men’s Metro League and State Titles. She is currently undertaking an advanced residency training program in the clinic to further enhance her preparation for full-time physiotherapy duties.
Her physiotherapy placements have included orthopaedics, community care, private practice, an AFL team, and work health and safety settings, giving her a broad foundation of clinical experience. After eight years as a receptionist at Pontifex Physiotherapy, Brooklyn is now transitioning into her role as a physiotherapist, combining her background in exercise, rehabilitation and nutrition to support people in achieving their health and performance goals.
Brooklyn’s special interests include netball rehabilitation, supporting seniors to enhance quality of life, and helping all patients feel and move their best. Outside of work, she is passionate about health and fitness, entering her 21st season of netball after playing representative netball for many years. She also loves the outdoors, summer, travelling, and spending time with her family, friends, and dogs, Franki and Teddi.
